EisBär 4 Plotter

With the help of the Plotter component, it is possible to display any measured values in a line diagram.

Download link: Plotter template

General information on sample templates (SCADAComp):

Download the desired SCADAComp file and unzip the ZIP file in an empty folder. Start the "Import components" option in the EisBaer Editor ribbon under Project and load the template. If a conversion is necessary because the EisBaer version is newer, confirm the process with YES. To maintain the functionality, select the option: "Create new nets" as a copy rule when pasting.

Data points of the component

Name

Type

Function

Lock operation (display only)

Input

If this input is not used, the component can always be operated. If the input is connected with an ON signal, the component cannot be operated. It then only has a display function.

Diagram

Folder

This folder contains data points for plotter control (see below).

Dynamic

Folder

The Dynamic folder displays the inputs of the measuring channels.

Export

Input

Trigger input for the export. Only the information between the last export and the new export is exported.

Input

Trigger input for the export of all data

Export - finished

Output

An ON edge signals that the export of the data has been completed.

Export - date of last export

Output

Timestamp of the last export

Export - Url

Output

Storage path of the last export.

Mouse over

Output

This output can be used to start an event when the mouse is moved over the object.

Visible

Input

An off signal makes the component invisible and an on signal makes it visible.

Function

Channels

0

Here the individual channels are defined in a list. These then appear as a channel in the Dynamic data point folder.

Update Interval [s]

20

The update interval defines the time interval at which the input values are drawn and saved in the database.

Diagram Title

Text that is displayed as the title in the diagram.

Y-axis designation

Designation of the Y-axis (value axis)

X-axis Designation

Designation of the X-axis (time axis)

X-axis Range [min]

60

Setting of the visible range of the diagram, in minutes.

Show toolbar on click

If this selection is set, the toolbar can be shown and hidden by a long click. If it is not set, the toolbar can only be shown and hidden via the data point.

Synchronisation group name

All plotters with the group name specified here synchronise the X-axis section.

Periodic Export Settings

Setting option for an automatic and cyclic export of the data. Only the information between the last export and the new export is exported.

Channel settings

Designation

Function

Name

Freely definable name for the channel and the legend

Type

Selection between digital (edge display) and analogue (straight line between the last and the new measured value) input values. The values at the channel input are calculated with the factor and displayed in the diagram.

Unit of measurement

The entry of the unit of measurement is only used for the overview in the channel editor and is not used otherwise.

Colour

Specification of the line colour in the diagram.

Factor

Multiplication factor for the input value.

Min. diff. Factor (%)

The "Min. diff. Factor (%)" indicates by how much the input value must change from the last saved value in order to be saved.

Group Name

It is possible to combine several channels into groups. This generates a new, additional graph that represents the sum of the channels with the same group names.

Group colour

When a group has been created, it is given the colour set here.

Is clone of

If information from one plotter is also to be displayed on another page, the plotter can be cloned. This avoids duplicate databases and links. The basis for this is a plotter that has the channels and links. The basic plotter can be selected for all other plotters that are to have the same display. It is not necessary to create channels. Channels that have already been created are ignored. The clone obtains the information directly from the basic plotter.

Hint:

In the live view there is a loading buffer of 500000 values per channel. In the database query in the Windows client, all data is displayed.

Display:

At the top right of the plotter the displayed range (date/time/period) is shown.

The green rectangle at the top left opens the plotter's function bar. Alternatively, a long left-click on the plotter can be used, provided the property for this is set. The bottom right rectangle opens or closes the legend.

Operation of the legend:

At the top of the legend is a search field for the channels. Below this, all channels can be made visible and invisible or individually via the check box in front of the channel name. Via "Data query" a new window with the query settings is displayed. A time range can be set for which the query is to apply. For the display, a distinction can be made between the raw data or calculation functions (raw data not selected) for this data. A time window must be specified as the calculation basis for mean/max/min/integral/standard deviation and number. "Only visible" means that only the data of a channel are queried from the database which are also visible. Otherwise, the data of all channels are queried. With "Execute" the display is created in the plotter, but the settings window remains open. With "CSV" the displayed data can be exported.

Operation Function bar:

Note: A function is active when the text or symbol is shown in green.
