Start the EisBär SCADA Editor, and for an initial test, create a project folder containing one project and one page.
From the component list in the DRIVERS section, drag the OPC-UA, OPC-DA, or OPC-DA (XML) component onto the designer.
In the Properties window, first click on Server and let the system search for the desired OPC-DA server; select it with a mouse click and close the dialog. Alternatively, you can enter the server address directly.
In the “Nodes” row of the Properties window, you can now open the dialog to import the data points from the selected server. After the data has been imported, it will appear as dynamic data points in the “Communication” section once you select the OPC component.
