Dynamic instantaneous water heater controller for load control and network control

The EisBär DLE Controller is a dynamic load management controller for electric instantaneous water heaters and handles central load control and network control for up to 60 devices. For larger systems with more than 60 instantaneous water heaters, a scalable software solution based on EisBär dongle licenses (Architect/Enterprise) is available.

Control can be either static, with a defined current value at the feed-in point, or fully dynamic, based on the energy actually available – e.g., by measuring the power at the house connection and optionally integrating a PV system as a “double dynamic” control system. Integrated Modbus drivers enable the direct connection of different instantaneous water heater brands. Types and manufacturers can be mixed and matched within a single system, allowing existing installations to be easily integrated into load management.

With EisBär's LNOT™ (Local Network of Things), the solution operates entirely locally on site, independently of cloud services, and guarantees maximum stability and secure local data exchange. The system can be set up redundantly with two controllers; the basic function is adapted to the respective system and the desired operating strategies on a project-specific basis.

• Dynamic control with continuous tracking via power measurement in the building or static control via a defined current value for the house connection

• Option for power reduction in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) (hardware connection provided by customer)
