Features

• All eight Modbus transports: Modbus TCP and UDP, Modbus RTU and ASCII over the serial port, plus RTU and ASCII over TCP or UDP – so every serial server and RS485 Ethernet gateway as well. TCP connections optionally TLS-encrypted (Modbus/TCP Security).
• Bus scan & discovery: searches IP ranges and the serial bus for unit IDs, lists found devices and detects responding registers automatically.
• Decoder – every decoding at once: the same raw value in 14 byte and word orders, as INT16/32/64, UINT, Float32/64, hex or ASCII text. You instantly see which interpretation yields a sensible value – one click transfers it into the Monitor.
• 619 ready-made device profiles for 238 manufacturers – among them ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Janitza, Carlo Gavazzi, Hager, Socomec, SMA and Belimo. Load, connect, done.
• Vendor-independent: whether BMS, PLC, energy meter or inverter – ModEye talks to any Modbus device.
• Export & templates: save the configuration as .modbus (EisBaer SCADA XML), .xml or .csv and reload it any time as a device template.
• Master, slave & monitor: read and write registers manually, poll values continuously or run ModEye itself as a Modbus device to test a control station without real hardware.
