EisBär WebApp client (optional)
The EisBär visualisation can be operated with HTML5-capable Internet browsers (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari) via the WebApp access.
WebApp access must be ordered once in addition to the dongle licence.
As a special feature, the WebApp client offers the option of two different display formats:
1.If the browser window is displayed wide (full screen), the user sees the "normal" graphical part of the interface as it was configured in the editor.
2.If the browser window is displayed narrow (higher than wide), it is possible to display a menu system(APP list view). To do this, this menu structure must be configured in the project. The "APP list view" component is available in the Editor in the component list under System.
Important:
When using links to the URLs below, the user name and password must not contain any spaces!
Example URLs for calling up the WebApp without logging in:
The standard call including login form is:

The login screen is displayed and the user name and user password must be entered accordingly (see user administration). For a standard login, this is Guest / without password.

For a quick user login, the login data of the corresponding user can be transferred with the URL:

Username and user password must be entered accordingly (see user administration). For a standard login, this is guest / without password.
For access via HTTPS, "https secure" must be activated in the server configuration console.
Access via HTTP is then deactivated.
Note:
The ports 8003 and 8004 are the standard app ports that are preset in the server configuration console. The ports are automatically enabled in the firewall during installation. If changes are made, these must be configured in the firewall or for port forwarding, etc.
Under Firefox, Eisbaer WebApp access via HTTPS does not work automatically. This is due to the certificate management in Firefox.
The certificate for both ports must first be activated. For the HTTPS port (8003 ) this is done when the insecure page is accepted on the first call.
For the web socket port (8004), access must be enabled manually .
Call up "Show certificates" under Settings\Privacy\Certificates
Add an exception for the web socket port
https://IP-Adress-Server:8004
If there is no entry for the HTTPS port, this can also be added.
https:/IP-Adress-Server:8003
When deleting the history, the "Website settings" must not be deleted. This would result in the certificate exceptions being deleted. These must otherwise be set each time the browser is restarted.
Chrome and Edge work without manual intervention as they use the Windows certificate management.
Other browsers may also need to be customised individually if they have their own certificate management.

The displays of the following components may differ from the EisBaer Windows client. Differences may also arise due to the browser used.
