EisBaer SCADA V2- Update with existing Internet connection:
With a special tool from us, you still have the option to carry out an online update like before. Download the EisBaer SCADA V2 Updater to the PC, which you would like to update (EisBaer Server) or carry out a new installation. Start the application.

The tool will load the current version of EisBaer from our servers, start the installer and also ensure that possible clients can be updated via the network.

EisBaer SCADA V2- Update without internet connection:
Please download the latest EisBaer SCADA V2 from our homepage or the following link and unpack the ZIP package. Copy the unpacked folder to the computer on which the EisBaer SCADA-WindowsService (Server) is installed, or select the appropriate PC for a new installation.

Now start the installation by the means of the EisBaerSCADA-2.1_Updater.exe in the copied folder. If clients are present in your EisBaer SCADA configuration, they will be automatically updated after restarting the server and clinets are reconnected.

The update service is interesting for all users, which operate EisBaer on a server PC and use others as client PC.

Please install the client update service on the client PC. The next auto-update of the server PC will update all client PCs automatically - the time and costs for larger installations will thus be reduced to a minimum.

EisBaer-SCADA OPC-Installer (AddOn) for EisBaer V2
not usable up to Windows 10 2004 and higher

To use the component EisBär SCADA OPC DA Client, OPC DA Client(XML) or OPC UA client, you must first install the AddOn "EisBär SCADA - OPC Installer" . The addon is required for the EisBär editor and server. For EisBär client applications (Windows, iOS, Android and Windows Phone), it is not needed. The .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed beforehand. Further information on installation can be found in the help under OPC.

Microsoft changed the power saving settings inside Windows 8.1/10 or Server2012R2.

This causes unwanted shutdown of USB devices, e.g. USB license dongles. With the provided Windows81USBDongle-Fix the power settings of Windows 8.1/10 or Server2012R2 will be changed to take care that EisBaer liecense dongle will be no longer disabled. The Windows 8-10-KNX-USB-Fix is also included with the download. Hereby the power settings of the KNX USB interfaces can be corrected. The interfaces are also affected by the changes.

The USB dongle and/or the KNX-USB interface must be plugged befor running the fix programs.

if you still use the ETS3 import into EisBaer KNX V1.8, this does not work anymore since January 01, 2015.
As an interim solution please download this fix.

- download file
- copy unpacked file from the folder
- copy and paste the file (eisbaer.shared.tools.dll) in the EisBaer KNX installation directory
- overwrite existing file

Then the ETS3 import should work again.

EisBaer KNX - StringParser - Timestamp converter

EisBaer KNX

An arbitrary string is sent to the input of the StringParser, e.g. of text feedback from squeezebox, message, string. The string should be sent and displayed on a 3-line KNX display via the EIB / KNX bus.

The StringParser contains a code which decomposes this incoming string into 3x14byte (DataPointStringValue) and prepares it as KNX values for sending to the display. Subsequent characters of the sring are truncated.
